1. Introduction and scope
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Bublicize ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our platform, website, applications, and related services (the "Service"). It applies to all users, including Advertisers and Influencers. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update this Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date will be revised when we do.
2. Data controller
Bublicize is the data controller for the personal data we collect in connection with the Service. For questions about this Policy or your data, contact us using the contact details provided on the Service. If we act as a processor on behalf of another entity (e.g. an Advertiser), that relationship will be governed by a separate agreement.
3. Information we collect
We collect information that you provide directly, that we obtain automatically, and that we receive from third parties.
Information you provide: When you register, create or manage campaigns, perform campaign actions, or contact us, we may collect: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), profile information, payment or payout details (e.g. bank account or payment method information as needed), and any other information you choose to provide. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, we may collect business name, address, and tax or registration details.
Information we collect automatically: When you access the Service, we may collect: IP address, device type and identifiers, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, actions taken, and approximate location (e.g. country or region). We may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies as described in Section 11.
Information from third parties: If you sign in via a third-party platform (e.g. social login) or perform campaign actions on Third-Party Platforms, we may receive identifiers and profile information that the platform makes available to us in accordance with your permissions and that platform's terms.
4. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Create and manage your account, authenticate you, and process your requests.
- Match Advertisers with Influencers, run and verify campaigns, and process rewards and payments.
- Communicate with you (e.g. transactional messages, support, and, where permitted, marketing).
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and violations of our terms or policies.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
- Analyse usage and trends to improve the Service and develop new features.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing. We may use de-identified or aggregated data for analytics and product improvement.
5. Legal basis (where applicable)
Where required by law (e.g. in the EEA or UK), we process your personal data on the basis of: (a) performance of a contract with you (e.g. to provide the Service); (b) your consent (e.g. for marketing or optional features); (c) our legitimate interests (e.g. security, fraud prevention, analytics), where not overridden by your rights; and (d) compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent where we rely on it, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We may share your information with:
- Service providers: Processors that help us operate the Service (e.g. hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery), under contractual obligations to protect your data.
- Other users: As necessary to operate the Service (e.g. Advertisers may see that an Influencer completed a campaign action; we do not share contact details unless you choose to).
- Third-party platforms: Where you use social or professional networks in connection with campaigns, information may be shared in accordance with those platforms' policies and your settings.
- Legal and safety: If required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of users or the public.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, sale, or other transfer of assets, subject to the same privacy commitments.
7. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and fulfil the purposes described in this Policy. We may retain certain data after account closure to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and for legitimate business purposes (e.g. fraud prevention). When we no longer need the data, we will delete or anonymise it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.
8. Security
We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include secure transmission (e.g. TLS), access controls, and secure storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us of any unauthorised access.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access and receive a copy of your personal data.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your data in certain circumstances.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on the Service. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. You may also update your account information and preferences through your account settings where available.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, analyse usage, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect the functionality of the Service. We may use analytics and advertising-related technologies in accordance with our Cookie Policy or as disclosed on the Service.
11. Third-party platforms and links
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party platforms (e.g. social networks). Your use of those platforms is subject to their privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties. When you perform campaign actions on Third-Party Platforms, those platforms may collect and use data in accordance with their own policies.
12. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or other jurisdictions with restrictions on international transfers, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses or other approved mechanisms) as required by applicable law.
13. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy on the Service and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
